ENERGY GENERATION BY PLANTS IN GHANA 

Total generation from hydro and thermal plants

The graph above shows the power generated by the various hydro and thermal ‍plants within 24 hours in Ghana. The power generated by these plants are measured in Gigawatts and Megawatts.

The total energy generated by the various hydro and thermal plants is  58.5185GWh

The peak demand was  2922MW.

The energy imported was 0.0039GWh

The energy exported was 1.3363GWh. The energy is exported to Burkina Faso, Togo and Benin.

All electricity generated are transmitted by GRIDCO and GRIDCO transfer to ECG for onward distribution to consumers.
