ENERGY GENERATION BY PLANTS IN GHANA 

Total generation from both hydro and thermal plants

The graph above shows the power generated by the various hydro and thermal ‍plants within 24 hours in Ghana. The power generated by these plants are measured in Gigawatts and Megawatts.

The total energy generated by the various hydro and thermal plants is  57.5742GWh

The peak demand was  2833MW.

The energy exported was 4.2334GWh. The energy is exported to Burkina Faso, Togo and Benin.

The graph above shows the electricity generated by hydro power stations in Ghana. The horizontal column shows the names of companies and the vertical column shows the amount of electricity generated within 24 hour period.
All electricity generated are transmitted by GRIDCO and GRIDCO transfer to ECG for onward distribution to consumers.

The total energy generated by the various hydro plants is  23.0741GWh
